Painting I won from my soon to be Watercolor teacher Maren Waddill.

Mom & I did the Art trails Studio Tour one day and just had a blast seeing all the talented gifted Artists in Yuma.

I was so in love with watercolor painting and Acrylic painting.  Mom kept bugging me to take a class and when we were visiting the artists they had drawings to win a painting and I won this one.

Maren is a outstanding artist, her home is filled with her wonderful work.  I'll be starting back up with her again in Dec 2012.
In April 2012 I joined the Mountain Shadows Artist Association so I can learn from all these great Artists, Mom was thrilled!!!

 My friend sharon Mead called me up one day and said her neighbor had some art stuff . The guy was pitching it and did she know anyone who would want them. So Sharon called me and I came right over- WOW I was overwelmed!!  I asked how much he wanted for all the stuff and he shocked me by saying only $5.00!!!  I was so thrilled I gave him $9.00.  Dan laughed that I paid more than what the guy asked for but the guy had no clue how much all those supplies were worth!!  I scanned all the price codes because all the canvases were new and the price for everything was up to $255.00!!!  With canvas you do Acrylic or Oil painting so looks like I will be doing a different kind of painting-GRIN  Thanks again Sharon for calling me!!

 This is my first painting when I took a interest in Watercolor painting.
